Write a brief creators can work with
A clear brief leaves room for good ideas while making expectations easy to understand.
Start with the purpose
Describe the product and the audience. Explain the one thing you want someone to understand after seeing the content. Include useful background without prescribing every frame.
Specify the actual work
List formats, quantities, approximate lengths and whether creators must publish to their own channels. Include deadlines, the review process and the number of revision rounds.
Put the offer in writing
State the fee or gifted products, payment arrangements, shipping countries and any creator expenses. Agree how and where the content can be reused and for how long.
Invite a creative response
Ask for a relevant sample and a short idea. Clear boundaries and creative freedom can work together. Confirm the final agreement before either side begins.
