Safety, Reports & Dispute Resolution Policy

How to raise a concern, request review and protect yourself.

Last updated Oct 2, 2026

Stay safe when collaborating

Review the brief and participant identity, agree terms in writing and keep useful records. Do not pay an unexpected application fee, share passwords or OTPs, install unknown software or publish private contact details. For physical visits, agree a suitable location and practical safety arrangements. Decline activities that are unsafe or outside the agreed scope.

How to report

Use Report on a profile, opportunity or collaboration, or use the public Support form if you cannot sign in. Choose the closest topic and give the exact page link, relevant date, reference number and a concise account of what happened. Provide only information needed to assess the concern. Urgent threats, suspected crimes or immediate danger should also be reported to the appropriate authority; the platform is not an emergency-response service.

What the team can do

Reports enter the platform’s administrative queue. The team can examine platform records, ask participants for information, limit visibility, pause a listing, restrict an account or remove prohibited content where appropriate. Access to private information is limited to authorised handling of the case. The team should avoid disclosing a reporter’s unnecessary personal information.

The platform can assist communication and moderation but does not operate escrow, compel a participant to pay, provide binding arbitration or decide legal ownership. A case marked resolved reflects the moderation workflow and is not a court judgment or proof that a refund was received.

Disputes between participants

Start with a factual message in the collaboration room where it is safe to do so. Identify the agreed term, the issue and the resolution you are requesting. Preserve the agreed brief, correspondence, delivery evidence and payment records. Avoid public accusations that disclose personal information or make unsupported claims.

If direct resolution is unsuccessful, submit a report. You may also use applicable payment-provider procedures, consumer redress, regulators, police or a court with jurisdiction. Do not miss an external deadline while waiting for a platform response.

Review, response and appeals

The team may prioritise urgent safety, privacy and unlawful-content reports and seek verification before taking sensitive action. Requests should be addressed within any applicable legal timeframe. The contact details shown with these policies provide the privacy or grievance contact where configured.

If you believe a decision was mistaken, use Support, choose Appeal and provide the case reference, the decision challenged and any relevant new evidence. The team can reconsider a decision; an appeal does not guarantee reversal or prevent necessary interim restrictions. Knowingly false reports, retaliation or attempts to intimidate a reporter are prohibited.
