Content Ownership & Intellectual Property Policy

Ownership, reuse permissions and reporting unauthorised content.

Last updated Oct 2, 2026

Ownership and permission to use the platform

Creators and businesses retain the rights they own in their original content, trademarks, product images and other materials. Uploading something does not transfer its ownership to Gramsify or another participant. You authorise the platform to host, process and display submitted material as needed for the service and the visibility or collaboration setting you select.

You must have the rights needed for what you upload and for the uses you authorise. Obtain appropriate permissions for identifiable people, private property, music, photographs, fonts and other protected elements where required.

Agree every commercial licence

A collaboration licence should say which final assets may be used; whether use is organic or paid; the permitted accounts, website or other channels; territory; start date and duration; credit; permitted cropping or captioning; exclusivity; and whether transfer, raw footage or additional edits are included. A product gift alone does not grant unlimited rights.

Posting on a creator’s account does not automatically allow paid advertising, boosting, partnership ads, whitelisting, account access, sublicensing or AI training. Obtain a separate written agreement for rights not included in the original brief. Material edits must not misrepresent the creator’s opinion or the product.

Brand assets, portfolios and music

Businesses should supply accurate approved logos, pack images and product descriptions and identify any restrictions. Creators may use those assets only within the agreed purpose. Portfolio use of completed work, naming a client or sharing private brief material should follow the agreement and relevant confidentiality obligations.

A track available inside a social app is not necessarily licensed for a brand’s commercial advertising or another platform. Participants must check the rights for their intended use. The platform does not grant music or other third-party licences.

AI-assisted content and authenticity

If AI tools are used, participants remain responsible for the resulting content, permissions and claims. Do not fabricate a testimonial, clone a person’s voice or likeness without appropriate permission, or present a materially altered product as if it were the item supplied. Disclose AI assistance where the agreement, publishing platform or applicable law requires it. Neither uploading to Gramsify nor accepting a barter automatically grants permission to train AI models on the content.

Report infringement

Use Support and choose Copyright or content rights. Identify the work you own or are authorised to represent, the exact platform page or file at issue, why its use is unauthorised, your contact details and supporting information. Include a good-faith statement that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act. Do not submit unnecessary private identity documents through a public page.

The team may ask for clarification, restrict content while investigating, contact the affected uploader and provide an opportunity to respond where lawful and appropriate. A mistaken removal can be challenged through Support with permission or ownership evidence. Repeated or serious infringement may lead to account restrictions. The team’s moderation process does not replace a court’s determination of ownership.
